The Komets organization will keep 50% or the monies raised and the board has agreed to give the other 50% back to the teams. This provides an incentive for teams to promote the event amongst their friends and family. The team allocation will be based on how many attendees each team sends to the restaurant. Diners will be asked which player or team they are supporting. If a parent has multiple children, each team will get credit. For Example: If 60% of the attendees say they are there supporting the Squirt B team, the Squirt B team will receive 60% of the allocated team proceeds. Example – Komets total raised is $2,500…. The organization will keep $1,250. If Squirt B has 60% of the attendees, they will receive $750 (60% x $1,250 – the amount allocated to the teams).
