Open Call to Alumni
Dear Kenosha Komets Alumni,
There’s just something about Hockey that joins families together for a lifetime! Even after 40+ years, we can recount experiences shared, as if it happened yesterday, and still feel those bonds with our extended family! The Komets family has continued to grow with second and third generations of Komets now taking the ice! In celebration of our alumni and the relationships we’ve formed with other Komets families throughout the years, we’ve planned a celebration!
Please join us on Saturday, March 24th, as we welcome all of you back to take part in a fun-filled day of Hockey, that honor’s our alumni and celebrates the Komet family!
The event opens with the traditional Coaches vs Varsity Game! It’s pretty competitive, but filled with big time, slapshot antics! (Remember players, the Coaches taught you everything you know, but not everything they know!) During the 1st intermission, we will honor the State Championship teams from the past 42 years! (Call your teammates!) For the second intermission, we will showcase the newest Komets, our Devos, as they battle for the puck in their cross-ice scrimmage!
Hey Alumni! Do you get a thrill from the chill of an ice arena? Do you love the feeling of your blades slicing through the ice with each stroke of the skate, the sound of sticks slapping the ice? Do you have that fire in your heart and ice in your veins? Then start sharpening your skates and honing in your skills, because the puck drops at 5:00pm for the Komets Alumni Game! And…there’s even more!! The great game of Hockey continues at 7:00pm with the Kenosha Adult Hockey League, “A” Division Championship game. The best of the best in Adult Hockey!!
