The Komets are proud to introduce the IGNITION PROGRAM, the first stop for players who are interested in getting involved in hockey, but have no prior skating experience. This new year-round program focuses on the fundamental skating skills required for hockey players. Our goal with the IGNITION PROGRAM is to prepare new skaters for our DEVO program, where they will focus on basic hockey skills, including: skating, shooting, passing, etc. Below is an outline of our basic teaching curriculum and requirements to graduate in to the DEVO program. Players who successfully graduate the IGNITION PROGRAM will be able to join the DEVO program currently in session at no additional charge.
