Spring Season and Devos Postponed at Least Two Weeks

All youth hockey activities postponed for at least two weeks.  Stay tuned for decisions on Men's League, Hockeyfest, and Battle of the Bands.

Greetings Kenosha Ice families!

I hope this letter finds you well.  After considering the unprecedented response to the Coronavirus, we have decided to postpone the start of the spring season, and suspend all Komets and Jets activities effective Monday, 3-16.  This timeframe is consistent with the Kenosha Unified School District.  While this decision was not made lightly, we feel it is in the best interest of our hockey community.  The extraordinary efforts the schools are making to keep large groups of kids apart would be for naught if we assemble large groups of kids.  This postponement will last at least two weeks.

Game scheduling will take place as planned this week.  Many hockey clubs are experiencing the same issues so games won’t be scheduled for several weeks.  We are still planning on having our traditional eight practices, eight games, and one tournament.

Registration is currently active on the website.  If you are still interested in registering for spring hockey, you can do so through the website.

I appreciate your patience and understanding during this incredible time.  Please continue to use common sense throughout your lives and keep yourselves germ free.

Best regards,

Ryan Fain

President, Kenosha Blue Line Hockey Club
