The Kenosha Komets took a giant leap into the future this week by accepting delivery of a new Zamboni machine manufactured in California.  The new machine is powered by a state of the art Lithium Ion battery pack.  This battery will require less maintenance and offer a longer life than the old fashioned lead acid batteries in its predecessor.  The new zamboni offers a variety of additional upgrades from our old machine.  One thing remains certain, when combined with our new ice system, the Kenosha Ice Arena is sure to have a fantastic ice surface that will be enjoyed by local kids for decades to come.
