WE NEED CANDIDATES!  PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING YOUR TIME AND TALENTS ON OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS!  Board members receive 20 hours of volunteer credit each season,  but more importantly, learn the inner workings of our hockey association and get the opportunity to have a voice in making us an even strong association!

WE WILL POST YOUR LETTER TO THE WEBSITE FOR MEMBERS TO REVIEW PRIOR TO THE ELECTION AND WE WILL INCLUDE YOUR NAME ON THE BALLOT ON 10/26.
 

• WAHA Commissioner  - (WAHA = Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association)
   
  • Acts as liaison between the Kenosha Komets Board of Directors, the Komets Membership and WAHA.
  • Attends quarterly and annual WAHA meetings.
  • Assists with WAHA game scheduling for Komets teams as needed.
  • Performs other duties as may be specifically assigned by the Board of Directors. 
  • Serves as a non-executive committee member of the Board for a one year term, elected annually by membership. 
     

• Development Commissioner
   
  • Acts as liaison between the Board of Directors, the Hockey Director and the Komets membership.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of the Ignition and DEVOS programs.
  • Oversees the Equipment Committee.
  • Performs other duties as may be specifically assigned by the Board of Directors.
  • Serves as a non-executive member of the Board for a one year term, elected annually by the membership.
