The popular "Devo" program is back for the spring! We're excited to announce this all-new affordable option for beginning hockey players to continue their participation with our program through March and April. The Devo program is aimed for kids 3-10 years old (no previous experience is necessary), and focuses on skill development and fun through cross-ice games. Full equipment is required for participation in the program - if you don't have gear, we can provide gear for you, just arrive a little early to the first session so we have time to get your player sized up.

Dates: Tuesdays & Saturdays from March 8th through April 30th.

Practice Sessions: Tuesday evenings at 5:40pm
Scrimmage Sessions: Saturday mornings at 8:30am

Cost: $99

Bonus: Each Spring Devo participant will receive 3 free passes to Stick & Puck sessions on Friday nights at Kenosha Ice Arena. Stick & Puck is a great opportunity for players and parents to go on the ice and play hockey together. Schedule information can be found on the Kenosha Ice website - www.kenoshaice.com

Notes: All skaters must be registered with USA Hockey. Proof of registration is required for all skaters. USA Hockey registration must be done online at www.usahockeyregistration.com

4 on 4 is back for the 4th year! Spring 4 on 4 is 1x per week through April and May, and is a supervised scrimmage session with line changes handled by a buzzer/whistle. Checking will not be allowed for the Mite - Peewee groups (see checking policy below). This program will last 8 weeks (8 sessions) - schedule information below.

Tuesdays (6:40pm - 8:10pm) - Peewee / Bantam
Thursdays (5:50pm - 7:20pm) - Mite / Squirt

Cost: Skater: $100, Goalie: $50 (Reduced fee if combining with Spring Skills)
Drop-In Cost: Skater: $15/session, Goalie: $10

Checking/Penalty Policy: Players deemed to be "taking runs" at other players, whose play is deemed unsafe, or is intentionally fouling another player with the intent to injury his/her opponent (at the coach and/or hockey director's discression) will be removed from the program without refund.

NEW FOR 2011 - Spring Skills by M2 Hockey offers players an affordable opportunity to improve their skills through the spring season. This 8-week program will consist of 7 unique skill focused sessions and 1 review session. This program is designed for travel players who are looking to take their game to the next level. Skill sessions will be run by M2 Hockey staff. This program is open to both Komet and non-Komet skaters. Skills runs April - May.

Week 4 - Advanced Shooting Techniques
Week 5 - Overspeed Training
Week 6 - Stickhandling at Top Speed
Week 7 - Shooting Off-Balance / Shooting at Top Speed

Mondays (6:20pm - 7:20pm) - Squirt / Peewee
Wednesdays (6:20pm - 7:20pm) - Bantam / Midget

Cost: Skater: $125, Goalie: $75 (Reduced fee if combining with Spring Skills)
Drop-in Rate: Skater: $20/session, Goalie: $10/session

BONUS: Skaters will also receive complimentary entry to Stick & Puck times at Kenosha Ice during the months of April & May! (an $80 value)

Spring Tournament teams will be fielded based on interest at each age-level. Each team will receive 4 hours of full-ice practice time (times/dates TBD). Tournament entry fees will be additional to the fee below and will be based on number of players on the team.
