FYI: From Squirt B memo Expect referees across USA Hockey to be cracking down on critical fans. They have a zero tolerance policy on fan behavior toward refs, as they feel it is driving refs, especially young refs, from being referees. They fear this could result in a ref shortage, so they will be cracking down on this pretty hard. This can result in a bench penalty against our team and removal of abusive spectator. Furthermore, team may be subject to a NIHL hearing that could result in further action. Long story short, please try to refrain from yelling at the refs from the stands.
