Dear Kenosha Komets Alumni,

There’s just something about Hockey that joins families together for a lifetime! Even after 45+ years, we can recount experiences shared, as if it happened yesterday, and still feel those bonds with our extended family! The Komets family has continued to grow with second and third generations of Komets now taking the ice! In honor of our alumni and the relationships we’ve formed with other Komets families throughout the years, we’ve planned a celebration!

Please join us on Saturday, April 8th, as we welcome all of you back to take part in a fun-filled day of Hockey, that honor’s our alumni and celebrates the Komet family!

Calling all alumni! Do you get a thrill from the chill of an ice arena? Do you love the feeling of your blades slicing through the ice with each stroke of the skate, the sound of sticks slapping the ice? Do you have that fire in your heart and ice in your veins? Then start sharpening your skates and honing in your skills, because the event kicks off at 1:00PM with the Komets Alumni Game!  For the second intermission, we will showcase the newest Komets, our Devos, as they battle for the puck in their cross-ice scrimmage! And at 3:00PM we will feature a 3x3 Championship from each of our Komets levels of play.

At 4pm, will we feature our traditional Komets Midgets vs Coaches Game. It’s pretty competitive, but filled with big time, slapshot antics! (Remember players, the Coaches taught you everything you know, but not everything they know!) During the 1st intermission, we will recognize the current Komets who participated at the State Tournament.

Interested alumni can register to play right on our website. Visit www.kenoshakomets.com and click on the “Alumni” tab. Registration is free and we will once again provide a keepsake Komets jersey. Deadline to register is March 26th!

And…there’s even more!! The great game of Hockey continues at 6:00pm with the Kenosha Adult Hockey League "A" League Championship game; the best of the best in Adult Hockey!! It’s a day of hockey you don’t want to miss!

This event continues our commitment to keeping our family together! We ask that no matter what your plans for April 8th, please continue to join our Komet’s family by registering in our Alumni guestbook on our website under the “Alumni” tab: www.kenoshakomets.com

This will allow us to keep you informed about all our upcoming special events! As we continue the tradition of superior youth hockey in Kenosha, we welcome you to stay connected!
